Use the events calendar to find community activities in and around
Sutton-on-the-Hill, including coffee mornings, WI meetings, open gardens,
village celebrations, walks, talks and fundraising events.
Anyone can view current and forthcoming public events. Registered members
can add themselves to a public event, record or change their own requirements,
withdraw, and create events of their own.
Publish a community event so that everybody can see it and registered members can add themselves.
To create an event: open the events calendar and
click the date on which your event will take place. If other events
already exist on that date, choose Create another event.
Then complete and submit the event form.
You manage the event, its attachments and its attendee list.
Only you and site administrators can see the complete attendee list.
You can email attendees or all registered members.
Create a private event to keep your own record of guests and their requirements for a party, meal or other private gathering.
To create a private event: select
Create an event, click the required date on the
calendar, then choose Private event/attendance list
on the event form.
It is not displayed on the public calendar.
Only you, attendees you add, and site administrators can view it.
You—not attendees—add, amend and remove people from its attendance list.
Event creators can edit or delete their own events, manage attendees,
attachments and emails for today or the future. A warning is shown before
editing an event happening today. Past events are available only to site
administrators, who have full access to all events.
